I've read through several guides about SAN HQ and searched all over the internet to find a solution as to why it is no longer monitoring the statistics that I need to see. Now it is only seeing general things like Downtime, Availability and Operations Status. Prior to the power outage it was able to monitor volumes for things like Average Read Latency, Read Ops, Write Ops, etc. When power was restored and the SAN came back up I noticed that SAN HQ was no longer actively tracking IOPS on its volumes. Unfortunately that generator did not kick in, it was frozen due to extreme cold temperatures. Normally that doesn't concern me as we have a Generac generator that is supposed to kick in when it sees our power going down. We experienced a long power outage on Feb 15. Host Integration Tools for Microsoft, VMware, and Linux products as well as EqualLogic SAN Headquarters (SANHQ) management software are included with.
